The Hermetic Flight app

Delete your account

On your phone (fastest). Signed in, use Profile → Delete account. That deletes your account and its cloud data, any guest readings this phone saved before you signed up, and the app's data on this phone. We also delete your analytics data within 30 days. Not signed in, use Profile → Delete my data. That deletes the guest data on our servers and the app's data on this phone. Uninstalling the app clears data on the phone only. It does not delete anything on our servers.

By email (without the app). Email contact@thehermeticflight.com and tell us the address you signed up with. We email a confirmation to the address on your account, and delete only after you confirm. This works for Sign in with Apple private-relay addresses too. It deletes your account, everything linked to it in our cloud, and your analytics record and events in PostHog. It cannot reach two things:

• data on your phone: use the app, or uninstall it;
• readings a phone saved as a guest before you signed up, which are keyed to that phone, not your email: use "Delete account" in the app.

When it's done. We complete emailed requests within 30 days and email you when the deletion is complete.

What we keep. Some records are kept for a set time after deletion. See How long we keep things in the privacy policy.
