The deck is finished. The print run is what's left.

What happened

The Kickstarter campaign closed on September 7 at 66% of its goal. It is all-or-nothing, so it did not fund and nobody was charged a cent.

That was a reach problem, not a deck problem. Most of the people who backed it found it by accident. The deck itself was already done, and it still is.

What you are buying

Seventy-eight cards, photographed with 24 real aerial and fire performers. No AI imagery anywhere in the deck. A 280-page guidebook, written to go with the photographs rather than around them. A box built to hold both.

• ◆ The physical deck — 78 cards, 24 real aerial and fire performers, every image a photograph of a real person in the air.
• ◆ The printed guidebook — 280 pages, one entry per card, written alongside the performers.
• ◆ The box the deck ships in.
• ◆ The app art package, included with your preorder, delivered when the app launches.

When it ships

Printing begins once the run is funded. We will publish a ship window here the moment the printer confirms our slot, and we will email you the same day. If printing hasn't started by January 31, 2027, we cancel every preorder and refund everything you paid.

We would rather give you no date than a date we invented. Foil stamping and the guidebook carry the longest lead times, and the printer schedules those when the order is confirmed.

Can I get it digitally first?

Yes, and you do not pay twice for it. The app art package is included with your preorder and arrives when the app launches. The physical deck follows when the print run is done. One purchase, both halves.

How far the run is from paid for

The first run is 500 decks. Paying for it, including printing, taxes and fees, takes $7,500. Here is where that stands today.
